Canadian Open Dancesport Championships
WELCOME TO TORONTO!!!
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the “2010
IDSF World Championship Youth Ten Dance”. We are very excited to
have you join us this year for an event that will be very memorable for
all.
All international travelers please keep in mind that you should be traveling
to Lester B. Pearson Toronto International Airport (YYZ), from which you
are able to take a FREE shuttle directly to the Doubletree by Hilton -
Toronto Airport Hotel located at 655 Dixon Rd., Toronto, Ontario, 416
244 8031.
The organizers will provide you a 2-night hotel accommodation from the
15th to the 16th and the 16th to the 17th of April. The travelling allowance
of 100 Swiss Francs per couple will be granted in Canadian Currency. Should
you require further information in regards to booking any additional room
nights please direct your attention to the HOTEL link on the website.
All accompanying persons (parents, coaches, trainers, etc.) to the World
championship participants should book their room nights using the above-mentioned
link.
Upon arrival all registration and competition information will be available
for pick up after 6pm on April 15th in the LONDON room at the WEST LOBBY
of the hotel.
The tentative schedule for all competition events is available at the
SCHEDULE link on the website. The Crystal Leaf 2010 Canadian Open Dancesport
Championships will be held on the 17th and 18th of April. The competition
includes in itself several IDSF events, should you like to register and
participate in those events please direct your attention to the ENTRY
FORM link on the website, and please refer to the AMATEUR INTERNATIONAL
STYLE entry form. The deadline for entering the IDSF events is March 15th
and it is the individual responsibility of each competitor to register,
and pay for both the entry form and tickets to the event PRIOR to the
deadline. Should the world championship competitors consider participating
in those events, the organizers may discuss the ability for further accommodation
compensation.
As World Championship competitors, we kindly request that you send us
a dancing photo of yourself that we will be able to place in the program
for the competition. As well please remember to send us a passport photo
for each couple member as well as the coach of each couple, in order to
create a competition pass. Please note that no entry will be given into
the ballroom if you do not have this pass. The pass will allow ONLY the
competitors and coaches to enter the ballroom free of charge.
